Confidentiality Statement
At Law Wise Professional Corporation, the confidentiality of our clients and the protection of their personal and legal information are of paramount importance. As a law firm governed by the rules and obligations of the Law Society of Ontario, we are bound by strict duties of confidentiality and solicitor-client privilege.
All information provided to our office in the context of seeking or receiving legal advice, whether in writing, verbally, or electronically, is treated as strictly confidential. This includes communications, documentation, case-related materials, and any other information that arises in the course of the solicitor-client relationship.
Confidentiality is maintained across all practice areas, including but not limited to immigration law, real estate law, family law, criminal law, wills and estates, and notarial or commissioning services. Every member of our legal team, including lawyers, staff, and authorized third-party service providers, is required to preserve this confidentiality and is subject to professional and contractual obligations to do so.
We do not disclose any confidential information to third parties without the informed consent of the client, except as required or authorized by law, by court order, or by applicable rules of professional conduct. In such rare cases, disclosure is made in a manner that protects the integrity and dignity of the information shared.
This duty of confidentiality continues indefinitely, even after the conclusion of the matter or the termination of the solicitor-client relationship.
We take this obligation seriously and implement robust administrative, technical, and procedural safeguards to protect all confidential information under our care.
If you have any questions about our confidentiality practices or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
